Hi, I'm Alexander. Over two decades building cloud, data, and AI systems at scale in the automotive industry, currently as a Principal Data & AI Architect at Mercedes-Benz. Multiple patents. Lately, a lot of my public work has focused on LLM inference, agentic systems, and the performance trade-offs that decide whether an AI system actually survives contact with production.
I also taught database design, programming, and machine learning at university for eight years, until the pandemic made it remote only and a lot less fun.
